God has made it clear to us in His Word that ministry is best accomplished in the context of a team or community. The work to which we have been called requires both a great deal of prayer and financial support in order to be successful. Concerning prayer, we believe that the work we have been called to accomplish will not be accomplished apart from the prayers of our staff, board of directors, and supporters. In fact, we hope this is the case! True life change happens only as the result of God's power breaking in and transforming a life, and such encounters typically do not occur apart from prayer.

Concerning finances, we believe that we are best able to carry out the mission and vision of encounterGOD ministries by remaining "support based." In other words, it is our goal to never require payment for any ministry in which we participate. This opens the door to a wider variety of opportunities to proclaim Jesus and further His Kingdom.
